Just when you thought you'd seen it all on social media, along comes Alex Choi, a 24-year-old South Korean YouTuber who has managed to outdo himself with a reckless stunt that has landed him in serious legal trouble.
Choi, who is known for posting car-related content on his channel, recently made headlines for a dangerous helicopter stunt he pulled on December 20, 2023. In the video, which has since gone viral, Choi is seen dangling from the outside of a helicopter while it hovers over the Las Vegas Strip. Not surprisingly, the stunt raised eyebrows and sparked an investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The FAA has since revoked the pilot's license, and Choi has been charged with a felony count of endangering the safety of an aircraft. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison. Choi made his initial appearance in court on Thursday, where he was released on a $50,000 bond.
