Oakland Athletics Postpones Game Against Chicago Cubs Due to Rain

A's and Cubs to Make Up Rained-Out Contest as Part of Doubleheader on Saturday

Oakland Athletics' game against the Chicago Cubs scheduled for Friday, May 12, has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, May 13.

The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 1:07 p.m. PT, and the second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Tickets for the original game will be valid for either game of the doubleheader. Fans who cannot attend the doubleheader can exchange their tickets for a comparable game during the 2023 regular season, subject to availability.

The Athletics and Cubs are scheduled to play again on Sunday, May 14, at 1:07 p.m. PT.
